MacBook Air

Now that I have a MacBook Air 1.6GHz 80GB, here’s my quick review.

Style - Must be seen to be truly appreciated, solid frame

Keyboard - Best laptop keyboard I’ve ever used

Screen - Very bright and clear

Battery Life - Averaged about 4h 15m, not bad

Mutil-touch - Amazing, especially in Safari. Would be nice to expand the feature to other apps. For example, iPhoto is unable to rotate pics. Turns out that is a feature when using Preview.

Remote Disc - Worked flawlessly, easy and quick to install. It shoud be noted that I have read reports that others have had problems.

Performance - As expected, this is not a high powered machine. It does perform well with normal task. If your intention is to use it for video editing, stop here. This is not a laptop that is capable of performing intensive processor task.

Appreciated Touches - Backlit keyboard

Recommendation: Buy. Not for everyone but, if you’re looking for a light weight laptop with a full size keyboard and screen, then this is the laptop for you.
